US
dollar continues to depreciate against the lira in recent days, reaching its
lowest level for last two months.
According
to Istanbul Stock Exchange index, afternoon trading of the dollar fell 1.4%
against the Turkish lira.
The
value of the dollar dropped to 5.7934 Turkish lira, which is the lowest level
since the last two months.
Parallel
to the decline of the dollar against the Turkish lira, Istanbul Stock Exchange
index achieved a remarkable rise reaching 98.302 points.
It
is noteworthy that the Turkish economy has been exposed for months to a fierce
foreign campaign by manipulating the value of foreign exchange against the
Turkish lira.
