Turkey
has received nearly $ 42 billion in revenue from foreign real estate sales
between 2003 and 2017, while it is expected to reach $ 50 billion by the end of
2018.
According
to real estate experts, Foreigners have bought properties worth of $ 42 billion
during the last 10 years, where the sales rose from $ 988 million in 2003, $
1.34 billion in 2004 and continued to rise to 1.84 billion dollars in 2005 and
to 2 billion dollars in 2006.
In
2007, the value of properties sold to foreigners reached $ 2.93 billion, and $
2.94 billion in 2008, while that figure fell to $ 1.78 billion in 2009.
Turkish real estate sales to foreigners gained momentum after 2009, reaching $ 2.49 billion in 2010, $ 2.13 billion in 2011 and $ 2.64 billion in 2012, according to a report by private property developers "Fuzul Group".
The
sales of residential property to foreigners rose in 2013 after amendments to
the ownership law to reach 3.49 billion dollars, and continued to increase to
4.32 billion dollars in 2014, and 4.16 billion dollars in 2015, 3.89 billion
dollars in 2016, and 4. $ 64 billion 2017 last year.
Real estate market is promising 2018, with sales increasing by 20% in the first three months of the year compared to the same period last year.
