Real estate sales in Turkey rose by
21% during September compared to last August recording 127.327 sale.
According to data published by the
Turkish Statistics Institution, Istanbul received the highest share of the
residential units with 20,216 houses by 15.9% followed by Ankara with 11.368
houses by 8.9% and Izmir with 6.207 by 4.9%.
The lesser-known states with real
estate sales came from Hakkari with 13 houses, Ardahan with 15 houses and
Bayport with 71 homes.
On the sale of real estate to
foreigners in turkey, the purchases have increased by 151.1% in September,
registering 5.615 housing units.
Istanbul was at the forefront of
the cities in terms of the number of properties sold to foreigners with 1.799
units, followed by Antalya with 1.038 units, Bursa with 42 units, Ankara with
386 and Yalova with 333.
As for the nationalities of the
buyers, the Iraqis ranked first with 1.315 housing units, followed by the
Iranians with 1.538 units, the Kuwaitis with 360 units, Saudis with 312 units
and the Germans with 399 units.
