Central
Bank of Turkey has published its forecast for the dollar exchange rate against
the Lira until the end of this year, indicating that the dollar exchange rate
will stabilize at 5.64 lira.
The
central bank said in its forecast for this month that the dollar rate was
expected to stabilize at 5.99 lira in the poll conducted before the current survey,
but reduced to 5.64 in this month's poll.
The
bank explained that the exchange rate expectations fell during 12 months from
6.53 to 6.37 Liras per dollar.
On
inflation, the bank expected 12-month inflation to rise from 17.3% to 17.38%.
On
the growth side, the bank's forecast for the year and next year is expected to
drop by 3.2 to 3.1%.
It
should be noted that the Turkish economy exposed to what the government
described as "economic war" by the United States of America during
the past months, which reflected negatively.
